W14226-2 Flute PCD Drill
Information:
Customer needed to reduce cycle time in right hand crank case cell, which was identified as the bottleneck of the plant. WINCO reduced the process from the (3) passes noted above to a single pass PCD step drill. Cycle time for this op was cut in half. Capacity was increased by 8 parts/day or nearly 2,000 parts (one per engine) per year.
