Information:
Brand "X" 4 Step Single Point Reamer: The customer came to WINCO for a tool due to problems they were having maintaining the single point reamer they purchased from Brand "X". Listed below are reasons that the customer came to WINCO:
1. Reliability of the Brand "X" tool was a big problem
2. Insert life was poor
3. Setup time was too long
4. Total cost of tools including inserts was too high
5. Long down time between tool setups
Winco 4 Flute PCD Tipped Tool: WINCO supplied the customer with a tool that does not take any time to set up and has improved the quality of the customer's part - improved their cycle time, size and finish and tool delivery time.
